Could somebody please give me some ideas.l have just started playing an electric accoustic Maton guitar it has on board tone controls etc and l'm putting it through an pedal effects,eq,marshall blues pedal and cry baby pedal into a Marshall tsl100.i'm used to playing solid body elec guitars. The problem when l go to play solo how do i eliminate the feed back especially when using pedal that increase the volume for soloing.

l allready have a sound hole rubber insert in the guitar.ls there any any pedal l can use for this problem or do l have to be content in turning down, miking the amp up and go through a pa?

Here are some ideas, in no special order:

* Get an acoustic amp. Your guitar won't sound right through an electric guitar amp. An acoustic amp will also have one or more notch filters for feedback.

* There may be a parametric notch filter on your guitar's preamp panel. Turning it, slowly, may allow you to block the feedback.

* Use a feedback eliminator. Peavey makes one, Behringer makes two nice ones, etc. These units are automatic.

* Another option is to run in to a mixer from your guitar, and from there to a PA. Skip the Marshall.

* Finally, try using an active MAGNETIC pickup in the sound hole, (such as one of the active Fishmans) and don't use the onboard guitar electronics or pickup.
