Members SLfreak Posted March 16, 2005 Members Posted March 16, 2005 So I've been thinking about getting an acoustic guitar to complement my electrics. I've gone back and done some searches and found some good information regarding inexpensive, yet quality, acoustic guitars. My main concern is that I am used to playing Ibanez electrics with the Wizard neck, ultra thin and ultra wide. I've not yet played an acoustic with a similar neck, and find I have difficulty adjusting to narrower necks with my large meathook hands. I've also heard that Ibanez acoustics aren't really the most desireable. What would you suggest in, say, the sub-$350 range that is of decent quality with a reasonably wide fingerboard? I'd also prefer a smaller body, maybe thin body, just for comfort. I don't need a really loud acoustic tone, just nice and crisp.

For your pricerange, check out the AF60S, it is a nice smaller size guitar with a real nice solid top and comes with elixor strings. Check out pics at www.music123.com , click on acoustic guitars and go to Alvarez, they have them all, then test drive one at a local dealer Jim
