Members Freaky Styley Posted March 26, 2005 Members Posted March 26, 2005 Hi. I want to learn some love songs on acoustic to help me pick up girls . Which ones do you use? I'm bad singer, so please recommend me some easy-to-sing stuff (even wonderful tonight is too high for my voice, and "cant help falling in love" is kinda too low.) Thanks!
Members solitaire Posted March 26, 2005 Members Posted March 26, 2005 With all due respect, but that's something of a tough one. Not saying I'm an impecable singer, but I never thought of songs like "Wonderful Tonight" as being high in pitch and with a wide range. I suggest you try it in a lower key. No offence intended, but if that wouldn't help try and find your chest support to increase your vocal range. If you're finding it a hard time doing it on your own being your own tutor, there are some nice DVD's on the market with every ins and outs of singing technique. I've got one myself and I've ordered yet another one.

Girls, well, anyone, can tell if you've been practicing a song and just waiting for someone, anyone, to be sitting across from you while you sing it. It appears desperate and won't work. Having a couple of fun songs at your disposal comes across as more immediate.
Members Jerry NT Posted March 28, 2005 Members Posted March 28, 2005 Seriously, most popular songs are intended for sing along. You don't have to have an 8 octave range to sing them. Maybe you just need to change the key. If that's hard to do, buy a capo and choke down the neck until it's close to what you want.
