Members Greg Bogoshian Posted March 24, 2005 Members Posted March 24, 2005 Next time it's sunny out here, I'll try to retake the photos so you can see the flame in especially the back. It is Rochester, so it may be a month or so... These guitars can be had for $250 plus shipping and includes a really nice gig bag. Great guitar to drag with you wherever you go. Solid spruce top. Laminate sides and back. I wish you could see the flame in the back... Pretty amazing for a guitar of this price. Glues show a bit in places and the top of the headstock edge is not perfect, but again, we are not talking a lot of money here. Designed in the U.S. and made in China. Action is outstanding and excellent fretwork. I can see why Abe Wechterwent to China to have his lower cost Pathmakers built there. It isn't a Carvin Cobalt or a Taylor or quite to that level, but it is really surprising nonetheless. And here's the clip... I realized ont he second part that I left the monitors on after I recorded it... Also tried a different mic. Both times, the mic was just resting on my mousepad. Not ideal conditions, for sure. http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/boggs.com/Cyberjam/Waldenclips.mp3

Top is Western Red Cedar, B/S are South African Mahogany. It is in the SupraNatura series along with the D2040 dreadnought, which is what I recently bought. This series is somewhat more costly. The dread with a HS case ran $750.00. The Supra Natura 3000 series have 2 grand auditorium models with all solid woods. The tops are Sitka Spruce and B/S are Indian Rosewood. They are the G3000 and G3030CE. They differ in that the G3030CE is a cutaway version with a Fishman Matrix Natural II system installed. Go to www.info@waldenguitars.com
Members Greg Bogoshian Posted March 26, 2005 Author Members Posted March 26, 2005 I ordered mine through UGB at Nineveh Guitars. He takes personal care in making sure the guitar is set up right before sending them to his customers and his prices are extraordinary. A dealer with higher integrity I have not found.
