Anyone familiar with this ebay store? I've just about settled on purchasing a Blueridge BR-183 for my next guitar. Have been thinking I'd buy through Elderly mainly because of their great rep & I know they'll examine the instrument before sending it to me. But their price is $975 not including HSC. The Mandolin Store on Ebay, however, has the same model priced at $799 including HSC... I'm strongly considering these folks, but I'm a little hesitant. Why is their price so good? They have a 100% positive feedback rating, but seem to have executed ultimately less than 300 sales over several years. So I'm wondering if perhaps this particular store is a guy in his basement... Even so, should I be very concerned? Has anyone ever purchased from these folks before?

It's very simple. The wholesale price is probably half of the

$1400 list price. The eBay store is willing

to make less than $100 profit on the

sale of the guitar. Elderly -- a

huge brick and mortar operation as well as

an online presence -- would rather make

$275 profit for the same guitar
