Members d03nut Posted May 3, 2005 Members Posted May 3, 2005 I don't really need to add anything further except that Blueridge seems to be getting some of the most glowing reviews right here on the reviews section of the HC. Even die-hard Martin fans are swearing by them. I happen to own a Larrivee -which I love- but I could still be tempted by a BR160 given the right scenario. Of course, given my finances, I can't really get GAS. With me, it's always GTS, i.e. gear trade-in syndrome. I know I could do a search but would prefer to get a fresh up-to-date perspective from all you knowledgeable folk out there. Thank you in advance.
Members guit30 Posted May 3, 2005 Members Posted May 3, 2005 -Tomorrow, I am going to order a Blueridge Br-143. I played a Larrivee OM-03 and did not like itJim
Members handsome_a Posted May 3, 2005 Members Posted May 3, 2005 I have OM-09 and BR-180. The BR-180 get played more and more. It's louder and as sweet and I can play more aggressively with this Chinese made guitar. The built quality is as good as all those expensive ones out there if not better. Larrivee makes nice guitars and reasonable price when you compare to all those big boys. However, about a grand for brand new Chinese made guitar seems a lot but I defintely think it well worth every penny for this all solid wood BR-180. Highly recommended!
