The Blueridge BR -163,bR-183, Martin 000-15,Taylor 214,or a Tacoma GC2 Cheif, all these guitars I'm looking hard at,especially the Blueridge models,I've heard so many things about them here. I also like the Tacoma GC2 Cheif,it has an interesting body shape, and I heard it's supposed be pretty loud too. I like the looks of a Taylor 214,which is a small aduitorium model, and the sound of the Martin. Which is the best or which guitar should I choose?

Honestly like Blueridges, but out of the guitars that I have played (no Blueridge 000 guitars), between the Taylor and Martin, would go for the Taylor for the sound

I would likely choose one of the Blueridges. I own a Blueridge and love it, and have owned and sold a Taylor 214. I have never been all that enamoured with Martin and have never played a Tacoma, so I can give no reply about that one.
Just my 2 cents worth!
Have a great weekend, all.

Based on sound comparison and playability I strongly suggest Martin over Taylor everytime. Taylor's sound too bright and lack strong bass response (IMO). The only Taylor I like is the Baby Taylor. Never played a Tacoma or Blueridge before. Although, I am very anxious to try a Blueridge. They get excellent reviews and are a bargain at their low price.

My advice is to play all of them. Don't worry about the name brand - concentrate on the sound and feel of the guitars. No one can tell you what will sound best to you.

I went to the guitar store today to test out the Blueridge, they close on Saturday, any store that closes on Saturday is pretty much out for me. I like to do buisness with people instead of online shopping. Nothing against you that do it,but it'sjust me. I can't hear or feel the guitar in my hands,so how can I tell it's me? JMHO. I went to another store today and played a Larivee L-OM model I really liked,it has a Fishman it jumped way up the list.:D

Pretty tough choice. All somewhat similar except for the Martin. The all-Mahogany guitar is not going to sound the same as a spruce topped guitar. I do love the all-mahogs though.

It's hard for me not to like the Blueridges, but I sure like American made guitars. The Taylor is a sweet guitar, but I'm not ultra keen on the neck. I have a Tacoma Chief and they are the funnest, easiest guitars to play. Mine has a western red cedar top with Mahogany back and sides and will also sound quite a bit different than the Blueridges. Only you can decide after playing them all. None of them are stinkers for sure.
