Members thejesmonddingo Posted May 14, 2005 Members Posted May 14, 2005 I want to look inside my guitar, and thought a webcam would be an easy way to do this.Anyone else tried this? Any recommendations for webcams?

That was pretty good. Sounds just like a high school thesis paper when you don't have enough info and add in filler words to sound smart. And probably a better idea than a webcam too. The webcam would be cool, but not really practical.

Members digitalsnipe Posted May 15, 2005 Members Posted May 15, 2005 Use a boroscope. I think they're coming down in price now. One that can be opto-coupled to your P.C. is only about $600.00. Resolution is pretty good. They are fiberoptic and the wand is highly flexible. Or, you can use an inspection mirror and flashlight. Or, you can route a hole in the back. Shouldn't affect the sound too much. After that you can buy a sized hole plug (McMaster-Carr) and nobody would be the wiser.
