Anyone from around San Antonio???

So I don't want to be insulting if anyone here happens to own or work in one but the guitar shops around here are just not doing it for me. I went to one of the larger ones today and I've been shopping around for a new acoustic and was looking at Martins and the setups were awful and the strings were corrodid...I guess maybe its Martin's fault from the factory but no way would I spend a grand on an instrument that doesn't excite me right away without a setup!!! Anyway is anyone from around here that has advice on where to go and what shops are good. For electric...Spacetone has some of the coolest guitars period, and the guys at Boo Lou's are really helpful, but slightly pricey...Herme's is decent for all around stuff, really helpful staff, but some of the guitars are a bit bland...Let me know
