Members guit30 Posted June 23, 2005 Members Posted June 23, 2005 I think it is neat that Musician's Friend is getting involved with Harmony Central. Ebay Question, Can a seller change his price in the middle of a listing. I contacted Dennis from the Mandolin store about a Br-43 for 279 including case plus 35 for shipping with no returns. He is telling me that if I call him today he will sell it to me for the listing price (I think the listing is good for at least 2 and a half more days. He says that after today, he is raising the price to 299. Is that legit? Also, no returns if i don't like it, I have never played one before and everyone knows how quirky my hands are because of my nerve damage.Any help would be appreciatedJim
Members Macartie Posted June 23, 2005 Members Posted June 23, 2005 A seller can indeed change the starting price in the middle of an auction up until 12 hours before it ends. But only if there are no bids. This allows a seller to lower the price if he/she set the starting bid too high.
Members guit30 Posted June 23, 2005 Author Members Posted June 23, 2005 Well, you can, just checked ebay and he deleted the Br-43 listing and started a new one for $299 Jim
