I've got an old Epiphone dreadnaught that's probably at least 20 years old, but I'd actually like to find out how old specifically and where it was manufactured as well. Where would I need to look to run a check on the serial number?

You have an Asian made Epiphone. These were manufactured by various manufacturers in different countries, hence it is extremely difficult to determine when it was made. It does not make a whole lot of difference anyway since it's not a collectible instrument, other than to satisfy your curiosity.

thanks for the numbers. I checked my sources and have been unable to find the Model FT 150.

it's possible your guitar is from the sixties. it's a wild stab.

You can try the Epiphone forum. You'll need to register first.

The model is a Flat Top 150 which I am fairly certain is a Japanese guitar with a bolt on neck made between '71 and '81. That's the best I can figure out.

The info. below is taken from the Vintage Guitar Guy, a very useful site.
