I played one of these at my local music shop, and I gotta tell you it felt really, really nice, the GBE string sounded a little to bright for me, but the low end was specatular, and very nice volume because its very lite, wanted to know if anyone here was played one? And what they think.

I played one of these and thought it was cheap sounding, the intonation was aweful(did need a set up, just out of box), but for the $270 the store wanted for it I didn't think it was worth it. The 110's are nice

PS- I guess if you want a travel guitar it's ok, but I can think of many guitars in that price range that sound better

I have a big baby that I really love, I got it as a present a few years ago and of all my guitars its the one that I could never part with, its really inspiring to me. The action is perfect and its so resonant, however it does have its downfalls, its so fragile and cosmetically I can't stand those two screws but its been a good friend to me regardless and in the end thats all that matters

we sell them at work, very nice little guitar, but if you can i would reccommend stepping up one slot to the taylor 110, it just feels alot more solid, i have a baby taylor, and thats great for traveling or whatever, but the big baby is like too big for traveling but not big enough to feel like a real guitar

I love the Seagull Grand. It's also my favorite tracking guitar for certain applications and I have some fairly old Gibsons and Martins. You might be able to find one used for close to your price range.

I've had a Taylor BB for a little over two years. Very utilitarian in terms of construction and I like it just fine - despite the fact that I've had to have it setup twice in two years, the neck angle being the main problem. I haven't changed string guage set in that time and have otherwise taken good care of it. Like another poster stated here - not as quite as solid feeling as a reasonbly well constructed set-net acoustic.

I also wish Taylor offered different back and side wood material on the BB as they've done with the standard Baby line.

have one and love it! i don't know if i just got a good one or what. i play it 90% of the time and i have other high end guitars. it feels good and sounds great. its a little smaller than a dred so its easy to lug. i would recommend it to anyone. i got it on e-bay for 250.00 and if i lost it i would definitely get another one. i think you will find over all, more good bb reviews than not.

you might also consider a breedlove Atlas...the ac200 I think it is...if I had to do it all over again I might look into one of those but they weren't out when I got my big baby

I had one and I played it for a few months, but soon tired of the sound and the Spartan looks. It is by all means a nice playing, inexpensive guitar, but lacks a good thump of a full-size guitar.
