So what's going on around here? Digitalsnipe posts a happy thing about his bird, and T_M is cheerful about the weather.

 

Tell you what happened to me last night: I think someone put something in my drink. I only had two, and I don't remember finishing the 2nd one.

 

I do remember drinking a glass of water and stumbling out of the bar, down the street, and going to sleep in my car.

 

woke up around 6am, drove home, slept a bit more. I feel a little wierd, but not too bad.

 

Anyone ever get doped? How'd you feel the next day?

Dragged thru a knothole. On a tiny island in the south Pacific I tried one of the local "vices". I chewed a little nut from the Betelnut tree like all the islanders did all day long. They cut the nut in half, place it on a leave from what they call a pepper tree, sprinkle it with lime created from the dust of torched coral and then roll the leave up and put it in their mouths between the cheek and gum. I did that in the morning and wanted to die all day long. Pretty much felt weak and mindless the next day. I had brought my Guild 12 with me and damned if I couldn't lift and hold it to play.
