Finding tabs, lyrics etc

Where do yu guys get your tabs from?

 

I'm mostly using powertab (http://www.powertabs.net/ )

Powertab is good because it looks just like "from a book"-tabs. No crappy tab done in notepad! You just got to download a small program and install (for free) and register and you got access to alot of good tabs!

 

Can anyone suggest a good site for lyrics?

Lyrics are incredibly easy. Not just one site. THere are hundreds of sites. Type this into Google.com:

 

lyric nameofsong artist

 

About 99% of the time, you will find your song. If you want chords, add the word "chords" to the above. Although, like tab, a majority are crap but often help some.

A lot of tabs are done on notepad because of virus issues.

But, what difference does it make? You're going to use them right?

You can find an artists tabs in fans websites.

I like to play Rush, so for that I go to Rush Tablature Project.

Or do a search in Yahoo or Google.

I use www.tabrobot.com It's a tab search engine that pulls up a lot of different tabe sites when you search for a song. I've found Ultimateguitartab and Tabcrawler to be a few of the better ones.
