To become a great guitarist:
1) you gotta have a guitar.
2) you gotta play it all the time, witch means-
3) you gotta want to play it all the time.

Number 3 is the thing.
Lessons or no lessons, if you WANT it, you'll get it.

Now you gotta figure what "it" realy is. In other words, what's your motivation?

See, I started out as a kid, (I'm 41 now) and all I wanted was to know how to play and make MUSIC come out of the guitar.
