Members Draven451 Posted October 8, 2005 Members Posted October 8, 2005 Has anyone played or had any experience with this line of guitars? I was at a local guitar boutique and they had several of these on display. The owner said they are made in Indonesia but are made of all solid wood. Didn't get a chance to play very long but the overall fit and finish was very nice. Nice abalone around the sound hole and markers on the fingerboard. The sound was suprisingly nice for a $600+ instrument. Might not be a bad investment for someone looking in this price range.
Members guit30 Posted October 9, 2005 Members Posted October 9, 2005 Washburn has a line of solid wood guitars called timberline, that cost about that much. I tried one of their anniversary guitars, a Wd54SW, from MF, it came to me all messed up, the bridge pins popping out, the gold tuners tarnishing to chrome, not pretty, the Vinci strings all cruddy, other than that it was nice looking, very heavy, was not playable, they were nice about it and I got my money back in about a monthJim
