D28 owners: "What guage strings do you use"?

I am currently using 13s...would going to 12s be too light?

I've got 12's on my D-28, though I usually go for the 12-56 set with the slightly thicker wound strings.

I prefer mediums on my Martin dred's as it seems to me that lights do not drive the top very well; but I tend to have a heavy hand. I agree that the "bluegrass gauge" set mentioned earlier is a good alternative choice as you still get the rumble of the bass strings.
Part of the fun is tweaking the set-up and strings to your style.

D-28 will be fine with lights but if you want it to be all it can be use Med.
