I recently purchased an Art and Lutherie AMI guitar. I love the tone and would like to hookup a pickup to it--any recomendations. I would be using it to connect to my Laney LC!% until I can afford a dedicated acoustic amp. I was considering a Seymour Duncan SC Woddy, but I am open to all considerations I would like to keep the cost down but not at the expense of maintaining a decent tone.

Shadow Electronics has a sound hole pickup SH-145 which will fit sound holes as small as 3 inches and it sounds clear, natural with no hum or noise. It comes with an end-pin jack and a 12 foot cable in case you don't want to drill end-pin hole. List price is $170.00.

There is also an under saddle pickup called the SH-NFX-AC that requires no modification other than a little saddle shaving. It also has no noise and sounds great. List is $160.00.
