Typicaly, action will come down in the winter and back up in the summer. You may be able to adjust it out by loosening the truss a little. Another thing you can do is have one saddle for winter, one for summer. http://www.guitarsaddles.com/ frets.com There's a lot of useful info at this site. Members DonK
What JT said about the saddle. If your guitar is buzzing at the 12th fret (and higher?), then it's more likely the effect of seasonal climate change (humidity) on the tongue of the fretboard where it extends over the top. A higher saddle will raise the strings off the tongue of the fretboard (we're not talking much higher, just a little). Truss rod mostly works on the 1st to 14th frets (the body fret on most acoustics), with the greatest effect around the 5th to 7th frets, so adding relief with the trussrod may not solve your problem, but give it a try. Just be careful, no more than a 1/4 turn, then wait a day and see if the problem is fixed. Don't force it if you feel more than minimal resistance - take it to a tech.
