Members Deanosolo Posted December 9, 2005 Members Posted December 9, 2005 I just bought an Epiphone SQ180 (don't know what year). It has a headstock that looks much like a Gibson only narrower. The other ones I've seen on the Epi. website have the normal Epiphone headstock and logo. Does anyone here have any info about the different headstock? or what year mine could be? it is serial # 1010254 Thanks.

That is the model number of the Black Everly Bros model..I just found a used one, it has a narrow neck-V-neck?, black, it is a direct copy of the Gibson.
Members Deanosolo Posted December 10, 2005 Author Members Posted December 10, 2005 It's a used Everly Bros. model. and yeah it has a narrow V-neck. I find it odd though that it doesn't have the normal Epi peghead and logo like on the Don Everly signature model. I'd like to find out what year it was made. It looks like it has a low serial number. I've emailed Gibson and Epiphone but haven't heard back. Does yours have the Gibson style headstock?
