Members McBain Posted December 19, 2005 Members Posted December 19, 2005 I was wondering, even though the two guitar makes are from the same parent company, Godin Guitars. Is there any difference between the two guitars? and is there any preference to the two of them?
Members McBain Posted December 19, 2005 Author Members Posted December 19, 2005 oops, i forgot to add, what is the close equivalent of the Norman B20 to a guitar of the Simon and Patrick line.
Members Rada Posted December 19, 2005 Members Posted December 19, 2005 Normans tend to be brighter that the other Godin acoustics..... and the only other way they differ is that Normans feel more traditional and S&Ps feel a bit more modern. I don't know how to explain that well, it's just something I feel when I play both and many have agreed with me. The S&P 6 Spruce is the "equivalent" to the Norman B20 Also, S&P has more options when it comes to models and finishes (they have sunburst, norman doesn't)
