Recently I stopped by my local guitar center... and found a high-quality acoustic.

The brand name was parkwood. I was very curious because I had never heard of it. After researching it, I found that it is made by cort. The instrument was extremly high quality ( highs like a Taylor, and very well balced lows)... so anyone ever heard of parkwood or even have a cort-made acoustic?

Cort makes a ton of acoustics, the owner of my local music store , Deluca's, told me that Cort made all of the Korean made Fenders, ie, DG series

Cort makes Parkwood, Tanglewood, Carvin Cobalts, yes Carvin Cobalts, some Fenders, Squires, Epiphone, Washburn, Dean, and many more Korean made instruments. Samick makes the rest.

Yeah, I played a Parkwood when I went to a Guitar Center.....I was surprised that it played so well for an Asian acoustic! it was an OM style guitar....looked very Martin-ish

I wouldn't put it in the same field as high end guitars at all....and I personally wouldn't pay the $200 for it, but it was a lot more guitar that I expected :thu:

If you like it get it...:D
