They do some sort of action work, that others have considered pretty rough. For the money, you can do much much better.

Members DonK Posted January 19, 2006 Members Posted January 19, 2006 He sells certain guitars from the Sigma by Martin line, and others that are branded with his own name (Denny Zager, a one hit wonder with Zager & Evans in the late '60's/early 70's, "In the Year 2525") He alters the string spacing and lowers the action by replacing the stock nut and saddle. Nothing you couldn't have a local luthier or tech do to the guitar of your choice. You could do it yourself without too much trouble. I personally don't like what he does with the string spacing, because it causes both E strings to fall off the fretboard too easily. I think his market is mainly beginners and casual players who just want something easy to play right off the rack.
Members guit30 Posted January 19, 2006 Members Posted January 19, 2006 DON'T BE SUCKED IN. He gets Chinese guitars and ruins them by filing the frets down and making the action low, I tried the 50 model, they are horrible. String Science = fret filing, hi leaning plastic saddle and darco strings plus a free t shirt

Yeah, I wish he'd get his own website already. It doesn't seem to matter which major brand you do a search for, his stuff pops up in quantity under every name.
