Did Jimi Hendrix ever play acoustic guitar?

I really like that song. It shows Jimi was not just a one trick pony.His playing style had lots to with old blues tunes,like Buddy Guy.

I have the original version on a VHS tape somewhere. It surely wasn't a great studio recording session, but not nearly as bad as that mpeg or what ever it was converted into.

It was tagged on to a Hendrix lession video I got about 15 or 20 years ago, not like I have the studio tapes or anything.

I think this might be the only acoustic hendrix that has ever been released on record or video.

 

They have acoustic guitar in All Along The Watchtower but it's Noel Redding that plays it!

i'm pretty sure it's dave mason playing acoustic 12-string on that song. i don't think noel even played during that session as he was on the outs with jimi when they recorded electric ladyland.
