Members Andrewrg Posted February 2, 2006 Members Posted February 2, 2006 after a lot of deliberation,to fit a Fishman UST-the active one-to my J40.I also got the Roland AC60,30+30 watts stereo amp.Like all UST`s its a sonic compromise, but I`ve had a bit of a play with it and can get a reasonable approximation of an acoustic tone. The good news is that the UST doesnt seem to have affected the pure acoustic tone at all, played unplugged.Anyone else tried this amp/pickup combination?
Members JasmineTea Posted February 3, 2006 Members Posted February 3, 2006 Still on the quest for pups and amps, but I saw the Roland at the local shop and thought it looked interesting. I like that it's small. How does it sound? How's the chorus?
Members Danocoustic Posted February 3, 2006 Members Posted February 3, 2006 I dunno, Andy. I've never gotten good results from a piezo. But best of luck!

Considering the size(6.5")of the speakers it sounds pretty big.I cant comment on its performance with vocals yet.The chorus is excellent and AFAIK its Boss circuitry so has the lushness you would expect. It comes with a neat shoulder bag and has a built in tilt stand.
