What Strings On Baby Taylor????

This is the first time replacing strings on my baby taylor

I am wondering what string to use (gauge. tension, etc.)

Some say with a shorter scale guitar you want a lighter gauge or else it will bend the guitar

others say in order to maintain the pitch, you need a heavier gauge on a shorter scale

 

WHAT DO I DO?

Personally I like the tone of heavier guage tuned down half a step (Eb standard). Best of all worlds, and is the same tension as lighter guage strings. I use Pyramid Premium Bronze 13 guage strings... for a baby Taylor I prbly wouldn't go higher than 12s, especially if you turned to standard.
