Members mrlucky7 Posted February 18, 2006 Members Posted February 18, 2006 Even if used as a jousting instrument against an Esteban and an Ovation....the Zager would lose. I bet you could not use this guitar to start a camp fire (wouldnt even think to play it at a campfire) its EZ wood and that stuff doesnt burn...it melts. I then though of using it as a freaky aquarium, but it would leak. Used as a baseball bat, the ball would go through it.. The EZ strings on it couldnt be used as fishing line....they would scare the fish away. I thought of using the tuners as drawer knobs but they would always come undone. Ummm, a play toy for my dog....nope, he'd go through it in seconds Basically, there is no use for this damn guitar:idea:
Members acombmusicman Posted February 18, 2006 Members Posted February 18, 2006 We do not seem to have Zager's in the UK, but I guess it is a cheapy/crappy guitar. Could in be used by guitar store owners like me to smack people who ask really stupid questions ("Do you sell mobile phones" - Honest!) or play the first few bars to Stairway really badly. Would it break on impact?
Members daklander Posted February 18, 2006 Members Posted February 18, 2006 Canoe paddle. Two of 'em tied together at the headstock could be used as a Kayak paddle. Stick it in the ground in your front garden with the headstock down and plant a hanging/trailing plant in it. Hang it from a tree and fill it with bird seed.

Members knockwood Posted February 18, 2006 Members Posted February 18, 2006 Originally posted by Cldplytkmn cover it with peanut butter and stick the bird seed to the outside... I love animals too much to feed them off one of these {censored}boxes. I also have yet to meet a jousting midget - or a standard poodle, for that matter - who'd be willing to engage in battle with a POS under this banner... although the idea of Zager and Esteban bashing the living crap out of one another with their respective tinder-turds is mighty tasty...
Members guit30 Posted February 18, 2006 Members Posted February 18, 2006 use the neck as a level,  the darco strings would be good for haging ductwork
Members jackwr Posted February 18, 2006 Members Posted February 18, 2006 Guess I'm just lucky I've never seen/heard one. How about just hanging it out as a sign of the times. An advertisement that good marketing makes more profit than good products!

Members Highway_61 Posted February 19, 2006 Members Posted February 19, 2006 Have you seen the newest deception? (This is a snapshot of a graphic included in an active eBay listing.) Impressive digs, huh? Question: What building is this, really?
Members studyscoot Posted February 19, 2006 Members Posted February 19, 2006 No idea where that is, but this is the real origin of zager guitars... Zagerland You can zoom in and out on the left.

Members GitRunner Posted February 19, 2006 Members Posted February 19, 2006 Does Zager actually make guitars?...or just modify? Looks like he maybe works out his garage/basement but posts a pic of a nice building to imply it's a big operation. Is Ebay his sole operation or do stores carry his stuff?
Members Stophe88 Posted February 19, 2006 Members Posted February 19, 2006 let's just put it this wayzager is a low life bastard
