Members mattk22 Posted February 9, 2006 Members Posted February 9, 2006 What style martin do you play?
Members SpaceCowboy409 Posted February 9, 2006 Members Posted February 9, 2006 000-28EC for me. Love the big fat neck!
Members Whalebot Posted February 9, 2006 Members Posted February 9, 2006 OM-21, had a 000-15 too. Same size.
Members t60 fan Posted February 9, 2006 Members Posted February 9, 2006 I don't know, but its got Zager strings.
Members tiger roach Posted February 9, 2006 Members Posted February 9, 2006 When I first got my OM-1, I had buyer's remorse and was thinking I should have scored a dread. Now I play fingerstyle almost exclusively so the OM is perfect. Things work out.
Members studyscoot Posted February 9, 2006 Members Posted February 9, 2006 OOO and D Best of both worlds
Members Freeman Keller Posted February 9, 2006 Members Posted February 9, 2006 1974 D-18, 1980 D12-28, 2006 000-28FK (home made copy of an 000-28VS), and an old Uke. I would sell the 18 but I've owned it for 30 years and I'm somewhat attached to it (even tho I don't play it much). The Uke was a $5 estate sale purchase - my "little Martin". Both dreads have been Kimseyfied. If I were to own only one it would be a OM-28, but what fun would that be?

Members nylon rock Posted February 10, 2006 Members Posted February 10, 2006 The poll should have OM and 000 lumped together. If this were the case, then it is turning out that OM/000 is the most popular.

Isn't the dimensions on the 000-15S a little different than the OM though? The upper bout appears to be longer. http://www.elderly.com/images/new_instruments/10N/00015S_front.jpg

Members Tralfaz Posted February 10, 2006 Members Posted February 10, 2006 D-28 here. Lately I've been itching for another high-falutin' acoustic in some other size beside a Dread. Probably won't be a Martin though; I like to spread the wealth.

Members Danocoustic Posted February 10, 2006 Members Posted February 10, 2006 My next one, after several dreads, will definitely be an OM. Though it might be a Collings or a SCGC
Members F-holes Posted February 10, 2006 Members Posted February 10, 2006 I have a 000-28GE. It's a 12 fret/slothead. The body is slightly different than the Clapton type.
Members HD28HLA Posted February 10, 2006 Members Posted February 10, 2006 Actually, I have 3-14Fret Ds(one with electronics and cutaway), a 12Fret D 12string, an OM, a 000, and a deep-body 00.
Members mc5nrg Posted February 11, 2006 Members Posted February 11, 2006 0which isn't listed in your poll.
