Members JasmineTea Posted February 24, 2006 Members Posted February 24, 2006 Originally posted by gale hard to tell i play under water . Oh, jeez. Another underwater player... What it could be is the length of string between the nut and the tuners ringing. They can act like sympathetic strings and get to ringing just from playing. Weave a piece of clothe through there to stop it. Or is literaly a "whistle"? If so, patent it.
Members guitarcapo Posted February 25, 2006 Members Posted February 25, 2006 Is a machine tuner loose and vibrating? Maybe the truss rod is slack and rattling in the neck channel.

Members gale Posted February 26, 2006 Author Members Posted February 26, 2006 i haven"t had time to try the cloth thing yet,.the tuners are all tight.i don"t want to fool with the truss rod untill it gets more playing time on it and settles down . i don"t play an ovation ,but i jamed with some guys one had an ovation ,i guess most people don"tlike them but his sounded perty good .rainsong ?i don"t think i ever saw one , never play in the rain ,when there is the lake so close . thanks for the help on the blueridge problem .
