Members suprswd Posted February 25, 2006 Members Posted February 25, 2006 waste of money. what is it? 5 thousand?
Members studyscoot Posted February 25, 2006 Members Posted February 25, 2006 so you've played it then?
Members suprswd Posted February 25, 2006 Members Posted February 25, 2006 no, how much better could a guitar costing 5 grand sound compared to a 2 grand guitar?
Members suprswd Posted February 25, 2006 Members Posted February 25, 2006 5 grand guitars are for the rich or the professional.
Members studyscoot Posted February 26, 2006 Members Posted February 26, 2006 well...it could be a lot better, or it could be very similar, therefore not worth the price hike. Lots of people would gladly pay the $4100 for a guitar that absolutely sings. Unlike Taylor, these guitars are truly handmade. They are expensive, but they are still about half the price of most of the other popular luthiers around. So if you haven't played it, shut the {censored} up.

Members JasmineTea Posted March 1, 2006 Members Posted March 1, 2006 Oh no, here we go again. R-wells, I think your post could easily be misconstrued. You're more than welcome (IMO) to crack jokes.
Members bembo Posted March 1, 2006 Members Posted March 1, 2006 Yeah, I agree. Jokes make the world and this forum go around. In fact they're the only reason I'm reading this thread. -------------------------Don't get me wrong - in fact don't get me at all.
Members R-Wells Posted March 1, 2006 Members Posted March 1, 2006 OK, I will try harder next time to express the humor. I learned a new chord today Bungee chord Rusty

Members Cldplytkmn Posted March 2, 2006 Members Posted March 2, 2006 thats more of a misuse, not a misspell... the other thing... feel free to crack jokes, but if this thread gets zapped... i personally blame you... haha we lost a couple good ones yesterday... shame.
Members kwakatak Posted March 2, 2006 Members Posted March 2, 2006 Aw, no! They actually deleted the "delete" thread?!? I was gonna post my fajita recipe!
Members Cldplytkmn Posted March 2, 2006 Members Posted March 2, 2006 they got that one, and they got the 'som-a-da members' one right as i was in the middle of replying to it. so of course i did the only thing logical and started a new thread with my response to it... i dropped the 'is that a popsicle brace in your pocket' joke, and it got yanked too... tough night
Members kwakatak Posted March 3, 2006 Members Posted March 3, 2006 OK, seriously. These custom R Taylor guitars are completely different from the new grand symphony models, right? From what I hear, those are about as affordable as a (decent)* Taylor can be. There, that should keep this thread alive and afloat. * this is a subjective term with Taylors.
