Leo Kottke, John Fahey, Ry Cooder, Chris Proctor, Lalrry Pattis, Duane Alman, Joni Mitchel, Kelly Joe Phelps, most of the old bluesmen, even EC on "Unplugged" and " Eric and Mr J". Modern players all over the place. Anyone playing slide. Me -except I'm not an "excellent player"

Dougie Maclean, a Scottish folk singer-songwriter, uses open tunings. Check out songs like "Ready for the Storm" and "Caledonia".

Richard Thompon also uses open tunings often. Listen to, for example, "1952 Vincent Black Lightning".

There are so many grezat ones.

The best I've heard is David Wilcox. Go on his website and look at his older stuff.

Dougie Maclean. Overall favorite but he's almost always in C.

Pierre Bensusan. Now you got me going.

Peppino D'Augustino

Tom Prasada Rao

If you spend the time to look up all these guys your life will never be the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I'm drinking.....
