I can't be sure. I think this particular model is Japanese, seeing as how it's an older model than the new ones built in Korea. But, I could be wrong.

What's an average cost for those Sierra Jumbos?

I've tried looking online but it seems like there's virtually no information available for the G3738.

Your guitar is probably Korean made. The serial number will be the clue so post it when the guitar gets to you. Either way they are well made and you will be pleased.

Thanks. What's the average price on them?

Sorry I missed the second part of your question. I believe from what I have read over the last several years that you got a good deal. They really sould sell for around $200-400 more than you paid for yours on eBay. You did well in that area. Retail would have been around $1200 or so. I may be a bit off but not much either direction. The sound quality will blow you away when you get it. When I picked up my Gretsch jumbo, I tried the Gibson and Taylor versions and foudn the Gretsch to have the better or at least as good of sound at a fraction of the J200 cost. The Taylor I tried was not even close but it may have had old strings or may have been a fluke.
