Members carguy Posted March 8, 2006 Members Posted March 8, 2006 Zager Fact #1: The best place to purchase your new Zager guitar is on e-Bay. Just search "Martin"......or "Gibson".......or "Taylor"......or "Takamine"......or "Larrivee"......or......

In mother Russia, the Zager plays you!
Members Etienne Rambert Posted March 8, 2006 Members Posted March 8, 2006 I've never played one. I'd never heard of one until this week. And I admit, "In the Year 2525", always struck me as being a stupid song. source: "Now let
Members Charlies Ghost Posted March 8, 2006 Members Posted March 8, 2006 I'm not sure if it could be considered fact but i've got a suspicion denny zager is really marshall applewhite returned from his cosmic adventures.

LMFAO! Caveat Emptor! Anything Zager is less than claimed. Sigmas are not Martins and never will be!
Members Brynson Posted March 31, 2006 Members Posted March 31, 2006 i have never played or personally seen a zager guitar, but i do know that they arent all sigmas, some are actually zagers, that actually look pretty sweet, check out this zad 80ce and look at the rosewood, looks good to me and they get great reviews, it seems like it would make a great guitarist betterhttp://www.zagerguitar.com/index.cfm?event=public.store.guitars.view&id=10

This is too unusual an occasion to let pass without making mention of it. A first-time poster happening into a Zager thread and posting a defense of Zager? Well holy sh*t, man! I'm convinced! Where's my credit card?

Members knockwood Posted March 31, 2006 Members Posted March 31, 2006 Evidently the rumors about the new Zager/Esteban Shill Swap program are true...
Members guit30 Posted March 31, 2006 Members Posted March 31, 2006 Hi Denny, I have played one, no, they are not just set up well, the frets are filed down to nothing without being crowned. The saddle is high and bends 45 degrees towards the nut. The intonation is very bad. If they came without being messed with , they would be a decent $200 guitar. Jim
