Members Rada Posted April 29, 2006 Members Posted April 29, 2006 I just got my Norman ST68 set up, and the tech put some Darco strings on..... After a day of playing with them, I can honestly say that I feel these are the worst guitar strings EVER. And I'm not being biased because Martin makes them....I had no idea until I searched "Darco" If these are the strings all Martins come with then maybe this is why I think they all sound so awful.... Well, I just got done putting some SITs on and now I am happy That is all....
Members DonK Posted April 29, 2006 Members Posted April 29, 2006 I didn't realize Darco strings were still out there. I actually used to insist on them about 30 years ago when I first started playing. Guess they've gone downhill.

HAHA Well, I don't know what was up with them. It was like they were too bright and too dull all at the same time
