Members MOTHBALL Posted May 4, 2006 Members Posted May 4, 2006 Hi all, pretty annoyed at the moment. About a year ago a bought the Marshal AS100D amp. With in 6 days it blew a tweeter, So after a few weeks of delays trying to repair it, they replaced the amp with a new one. Haven't had an issue, until last night. Its making the same buzzing sound as before, so I'm guessing it has again blown its tweeter. Has anyone else had issued with tweeters on acoustic amps? Seams that once is bad. twice is very suspect.Feel like smashing someone else's guitar over that amp right now! Any suggestions on preventing this from happening again?
Members mamberg Posted May 4, 2006 Members Posted May 4, 2006 are you running a lot of eq through it? or cranking it loudl y? or pedals out front?? any amp worth it's salt should be able to handle 'normal' use. I don't blame you for being pissed

Also it has an on-board limiter to avoid overloading or distortion so it shouldn't have an issue..... well so i thought. Ringing them now to ask when i can get it repaired. Just takes to freaking long!
