Members tamolina Posted May 29, 2006 Members Posted May 29, 2006 I am with Dave W. You sell an excess guitar for fifty bucks...a tank of gas and a couple of six-packs and the money is gone and forgotten. You give that guitar to a kid, and you never know what it might lead to.
Members catdaddy Posted May 30, 2006 Members Posted May 30, 2006 Keep 'em around in alternate tunings. Pick 'em up and play 'em without having to mess with the tuning of your Martin. Convenience is everything.
Members hrhodes3 Posted May 30, 2006 Author Members Posted May 30, 2006 I know what you mean I was talking to my sister. I gave her kids a bunch of them two years ago and I have another load to give away LOL
Members hrhodes3 Posted May 30, 2006 Author Members Posted May 30, 2006 I dont like lokking at old guitars that I dont play any more. IT a werd thing with me. When I look at them all I see is there faults like bad intonation the gstring sounds funny etc... the nut is not cut right . it has a scratch.. Its like an x girlfriend or zsomthing
Members smokiee Posted May 30, 2006 Members Posted May 30, 2006 trade em all in for a new HSC or even a new guitar or other things like humidifier, stands, tuners, pickups, microphone, lots of strings etc..
