I am not here to sell anyone this guitar because when i ordered mine they had 17 left. The sales rep told me it wasn't because of Martin making them stop the production but, rather this is thier higest end and didn't want to bring alot of these into thier guitar line up but if the demand is asked for they can make more. Ok my review. I am shocked to say the least about this guitar. SOLID ENGLEMANN SPRUC TOPSOLID ROSEWOOD BACK AND SIDESTOP GRADE ROSEWOOD FRETBOARD AND BRIDGEGOLD DIECAST TUNERSABALONE BIDING ON TOP AND SOUNDHOLE I emailed a guy from a site who had purchased this guitar and flat out asked him how does this guitar sound.. He emailed me back and said to be honest i have a Martin D-35 and it sounds as good as it and i would not go wrong with this guitar.. i was sold on it and ordered one the next day. ok now.... When i received it i took it from the box and was absolutely amazed at the look and copy of the D-45 Martin even with the DIAMOND VALUTE on the between the neck and headboard like on the D28.. i TUNED IT UP AND THE SOUND BLOWED ME AWAY... now after 4 days of steady playing and the sound opening up some i can strum this guitar and the sound just lingers and lingers from high back to low until finally after what seem's a long time the sound will vanish... I can strum this thing place it in the case and it still will be ringing with great sustain. This guitar has low action with no buzzing and like i said sustain is MAD man/.. The bass is very loud also. I looked inside and previously owned a Martin D16RGT and inside that Martin on the sides inside it had thin pieces of Rosewood onto the sides of the guitar.. well this ARIA has the same exact inside patter on the rosewood sides.... After all this i took it yesterday to my friend who plays bluegrass and has a early 1990s model MARTIN D-28 he played mine for a few minutes and said he wouldn't be ashamed to play this on any stage. He then said i'll get my Martin.. We strummed each string to tune his Martin and our strings sounded just alike.. when we were tuned to perfection he strummed his D-28 and i strummed the Aria AD-80 and it sounded just like the D-28 and considering my aria is new that was saying alot.. The bass on my aria seemed to out do his Martin D-28 overall this ARIA stod right there against the Martin D-28 in sound at 4 times less the money and with a lifetime warranty you cant go wrong. My point is i've heard so much talk about the NEW Carolina guitar's from Johnson which i am a dealer.. and The blueridge guitar's but i am shocked that hardly anyone knows about this guitar from Aria..... I would stack this guitar against any bluerige guitar anytime..... Once again i say if you have a chance to just strum this great guitar do it and you will say the same i have for the price and workmanship this guitar sounds better then any guitar around in the price.. I know because i've compared it with a D28 ....
