Members wvanhorn Posted June 8, 2006 Members Posted June 8, 2006 I've played guitar and banjo for some time now, but have been without an acoustic guitar for years. I really need to get one. What I dream of is an archtop acoustic. And honestly, it doesn't even need to be an archtop. The body style and f-holes are really what I want, but I need it for no super expensive (300-400 max). Is this even possible? The only sorts of archtop acoustics I can find are vintage or really really nice, thus being really expensive. Does anyone know of a flat-top, round body f-hole guitar on the market? Any advice? Thanks.

Members egtact Posted June 8, 2006 Members Posted June 8, 2006 Washburn J4HB List is $649 so street price is MUCH less. Best cross between a flat top and an arch top for less than $1000. Has a floating pickup, though and is a bit thin acoustically. I prefer my D'Aquisto CENTURA, personally. I was looking for an acoustic archtop that would blend aspects of a flat top and the CENTURA is the best I could find and boy did I look! Or better yet, try this...Aria jazzbox
