Members hrhodes3 Posted June 7, 2006 Members Posted June 7, 2006 I have dicided to play only the washburn d10 s in the futer due to the fact I am fead up with martin taylor and breadlove at this point . I got all of there guitars in to play and had problems with all of them and they did not have the warrenty or support of my199 d10s .. to hell with the so called good guitars.
Members Tony Burns Posted June 7, 2006 Members Posted June 7, 2006 My friend, ive had days like that to ! When my Yamaha was my best friend-- these solid good guitars that are reasonably priced are always a blessing to the working musician. Every guitar to me is like an old friend that i visit with, when im in certain moods- today my classical wins .

Its not the guitar that makes the person but its the other way round. If Tommy (Emmanuel) played a $50 guitar, he's still Tommy and he can probably beat the crap (musically) out of any guy that uses a $2000 guitar.

Both Martin and Taylor come with a lifetime warranty - probably Breedlove too. Taylor is well known for their great customer support. The Washburn is a good 'bang for the buck' guitar - but the warranty and support are no better. You are making no sense at all. If you happy with a $200.00 guitar - great. But that's no reason to bash the expensive ones - just don't buy them.
Members fingerpicker Posted June 8, 2006 Members Posted June 8, 2006 I have never had a problem with Warranty work on Any Taylor, or Gibson, for that matter. Taylor customer service was top notch when I dealt with them '01-04. If something wasn't right they would make it right. I am finding Gibson is doing a good job too.(At least with acoustics)
Members hrhodes3 Posted June 8, 2006 Author Members Posted June 8, 2006 they all do have good support its just that latley I have needed more help with the better guitars than the cheap ones.

"Another this to point out is it is realy garunteed for life they honor this. THey will replace a structuraly defective product and they will go to lengths to help.. No other company does this.I have been helped several times. replaced bridges saddles whole guitars everything." Sounds to me like you've had a fair amount of trouble there. I think you also said you ordered three CFMs at once, so as to keep the "good" one and send the other two back. You seem to create your own troubles sometimes, and maybe this is why you get some of the reaction here on this forum that you have complained about recently. It's not the spelling or sentence structure. I can get past that. You know, sometimes its the message itself.
