I finally got my mother to give me her Acoustic (she doesn't play, but I do). It's constructed entirely out of maple... regular maple top, flamed maple sides and back, maple neck. It has a Martin style headstock, with Hohner inscribed on it (as opposed to Martin). It dates to the 70s... does anybody know anything about this guitar?

I don't think that this one is plywood... I've inspected around the soundhole and it is a solid piece of maple. As far as the sides and back, can you even get flamed maple plywood?
