I'm playing an outdoor 4th Festival tomorrow and wanted to get some ideas for some down home American songs. I'm throwing in some Woody Guthrie, but would like to add one or two more.

Here's the current set list:

Before You Accuse Me/ Eric Clapton

Flake/ Jack Johnson

What Would You Say/ Dave Matthews Band

Life By The Drop/ Stevie Ray Vaughan

Brown Eyed Girl/ Van Morrision

Folsom Prison Blues/ Johnny Cash

Space Oddity/ David Bowie

Blowin' in the Wind/ Bob Dylan

Lookin' Out My Back Door/ Creedence Clearwater Revival

Fiddler's Green/ The Tragically Hip

Link and Chain/ Chris Smither

Wish You Were Here/ Pink Floyd

Whiskey River/ Willie Nelson

Danny's Song/ Loggins & Messina

Keep Your Hands to Yourself/ Georgia Sattelites

Here Comes The Sun/ Beatles

This Land is Your Land/ Woody Guthrie

Thanks!

How could I possibly do less for a fellow Kinky backer! :)

BTW, I see so many Kinky stickers on cars and trucks out our way that I'm feeling REALLY positive about The Republic of Texas having a good governor again! :thu:

Wouldn't that be something? Whereabouts are you? I'm near Dripping Springs, outside Austin.

New Fairview is about halfway between Decatur and 1951! (N. and W. of Ft. Worth, slightly S. of Denton.)
