Members Sweb Posted July 12, 2006 Members Posted July 12, 2006 Some of you might think I've lost a couple of cards but I think I'm onto something. There are times when I play so fluidly I just can't put the guitar down while other times I wonder why I play at all. I started wondering about that. It lies in the hands. They play well or they don't and it just couldn't be, in my case, a lack of practice. The long and short of it is diet. I like to eat those little saline-snacks - chips - corn, potato, pretzel - anything in a bag that's salty and crispy. So, I laid off of them for awhile and then came back to them as sort of an experiment. That seems to be it. I get swollen up a bit from the excess salt intake and it has a definite affect on my hands. Snack Science?
Members babablowfish Posted July 12, 2006 Members Posted July 12, 2006 It makes sense. Sometimes when I eat the wrong stuff my feet swell up. Thank God I don't play with my feet!
