Members Whalebot Posted July 17, 2006 Members Posted July 17, 2006 I'm selling a Pro-Grade DV cam and someone uses buy it now...great, right? No. Bastard has ZERO feedback, registered today and then cut and is no longer a registered user. I don't understand how this benefits anyone. Does the buyer get anything in return other than pissing me off? All a youse out there who sell on the bay, clue me in. Oh, by the way this is OT.
Members Hudman Posted July 17, 2006 Members Posted July 17, 2006 I had a similiar problem last year. Now I set up my auctions to block people from buying if they have negative or zero feedback. I also set up my auctions with "immediate payment due".
Members theGOOCH Posted July 17, 2006 Members Posted July 17, 2006 There's a special place in hell for people like that...right next to the telemarketing section.
Members dadgad7 Posted July 17, 2006 Members Posted July 17, 2006 yeah, and the guys who write "not Martin" for example, just to get their POS listed with the Martins. Big waste of time for those who are looking specifically for Martins. just a little pet peeve of mine, wish there were a way around that when you do a search. oh....and Good Morning!
Members Whalebot Posted July 17, 2006 Author Members Posted July 17, 2006 Hud, I have mine set up, but it won't let me block those with 0 feedback, only negatives. Anyway, I relisted and sold. I actually got an e-mail from the spoofer with fake Paypal graphics and everything, all bogus url etc. And he wanted me to ship it to, wait for it...Nigeria. I'm calling Dateline!
