Members gnugear Posted July 23, 2006 Members Posted July 23, 2006 I've got a David Webber OM model that I've had for about 9 years. Custom ordered it with abalone rosette and purfling. Sound terrific. But I played one of his Roundbody guitars and the tone was to die for. I think I have to get it even though it's a total plain jane. I never thought I'd be buying another acoustic.
Members knockwood Posted July 23, 2006 Members Posted July 23, 2006 I don't think anyone can blame anyone for buying a second Webber.I only know his guitars to stare at online, but I've heard nothing but the highest praise for his output and his prices are still amazing considering the work and materials he puts in.If you happen to have any clips of your OM...
Members gnugear Posted July 23, 2006 Author Members Posted July 23, 2006 I do, but I'm not sure where to put them. I made them about 9 years ago when I first got the guitar. It's sweetened up considerably since then. In fact I'm almost positive that the rosewood OM on his site is my actual guitar. When I custom ordered it, I got it without the W on the headstock and it's the only model shown like that. His site went up around the same time I bought the guitar and he said he just took pictures of whatever model that was being built at the time. Pretty cool!
