Members dave251 Posted July 25, 2006 Members Posted July 25, 2006 Washburn D10SSB and an Aria MM20 These guitars were used to develop an adaptation of my "MagPi" passive pickup system for standard acoustic steel string guitars. The Washburn: Solid spruce top with sunburst finish over a mahogany back/sides. Has been set up(fret dress, action height) with 12-52 strings, and includes a compensated bone saddle. Dual controls on the Magpi system, volume and balance between the two pickups. Extremely clean guitar, shows no wear whatsoever. Plays great. $250 Aria: Solid spruce top over rosewood b/s. Fret dress and action set. Set up with 10-49 strings on a long scale(670mm). Typical "gypsy" action. Bridge contains the piezo half of the MagPi system. Custom made and compensated. Controls are volume, balance, treble rolloff. $250 The Aria has seen considerable use, however, is in great playing condition and good cosmetic condition. "Real gypsy" tone. I have the MagPi pickup system developed and no longer need these instruments. Gig bags or cases available. I am selling these at my cost, with all of the labor and pickup development thrown in.
