Wats r some good strings

I was wondering wat r some good strings for a acoustic guitar?

Im using Elixir Nanoweb Acoustic Light Strings, and everytime i slide down or up the fret board it makes screetching louds.

I use only Martin SP Phosphor Bronze. But really, you should buy a bunch of different types and see what works best for you.

I concur. Martin SPs are also my favorite for acoustics. Usually I use 11s, occasionally 12s, but like BBBFish said, try out a bunch of strings. I've got a buddy who swears by D'Addario Phosphor Bronze strings, and if you'd like to stick to a coated string such as the Elixirs you're using, the D'Addario EXPs would be worth trying also.

I also use martin sps. I usually use 10s since my steel string guitar is awfully hard to play.
