Members Red House Posted August 4, 2006 Members Posted August 4, 2006 Hey, A friend of mine wants to buy one of these and asked my opinion, but I've frankly never heard of them. I went to their site and it really came across like a cheesy infomerical (which usually means crap product). Whats all this EZ play business? Is it just a low action? If anyone owns one of these could you let me know what you think of it, in comparison to something like a Seagull M6, which is what I'd normally recommend for a $500-600 budget.
Members babablowfish Posted August 4, 2006 Members Posted August 4, 2006 Use the search function on this site and do a search on Zager and you will find all you need to know.

Members MyM.O. Posted August 4, 2006 Members Posted August 4, 2006 Yup, Seagull, A & L, Alvarez, Taylor 110, Epi Masterbuilt. All excellent guitars in that price range. There's no need to buy garbage.
Members Hudman Posted August 4, 2006 Members Posted August 4, 2006 Zager's are just a tad better than Esteban's.....

I thought the Zagers were just modified Sigmas, which seem (IMO) to be passable guitars (for a couple of hundred bucks). My impression of the Zager shuck and jive is that he is selling a $2-300 guitar for way more than it is worth...after claiming to have enhanced it with his Zager process..... That in itself is pretty scummy...he's essentially preying on the uninformed (sounds like corporate style business to me). But are the guitars reallly hardly better than/comparable to Estabans??
Members zb0430 Posted August 5, 2006 Members Posted August 5, 2006 If it's glued together and playable at all, then it's better than an Este-fraud guitar.
