Members Stackabones Posted August 5, 2006 Members Posted August 5, 2006 That's Li Jie. Here she is playing .
Members MurderbyDeath Posted August 5, 2006 Author Members Posted August 5, 2006 She is my new guitar idol...how old is she? And is she playing her vibratos on the frets? She rolls her fingers the way you do on bowed instruments. Well she is just incredible.

I normally do little circles - like a cross between both methods. But sideways on nylon seems to work better.

You need to practice a lottttttt. Those girls (Xuefei Yang or Li Jie) started to play classical guitar at 7 or 8 and probably practice more than 6 hours everyday.

Come on. :-) I remember Xuefei Yang got her first award in an international cassical guitar competition in Tokyo when she was 12. Just two years after she started to take it seriously. I believe you could make it in two years as well. Guess what I found?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yang_Xuefei
