Members Queequeg Posted April 2, 2006 Members Posted April 2, 2006 Froggy Bottom has such a weird looking pickguard, doesn't it?Buffalo's photographer does a fine job.

Stubby pickguards, yes. And they seem oddly placed. I like it, though. I have no real use for them except aesthetics - I just like having them there. Yeah, I think they do a great job with photos - better than any other website I've seen. I'm a huge fan of Mandolin Bros. but wish they'd do something to make their site a little more visual and user-friendly. Right now it's like reading a phone book...

This is a pretty good site for pics. They were taking pics outside on the side walk. I sent them an email and suggested a backdrop to protect the guitars. Now they have one. http://www.vintage-guitars.se/index.html

This thing looks pretty interesting: http://www.vintage-guitars.se/1953_Martin_000-21_132717.htm At around $6,000 (!!!), though, my interest might wander pretty quickly. Man, sometimes it's good to live in the US...

Not sure how reputable this guy is, but here's some of his prices:http://www.umanovguitars.com/pstore/flattop.php
