Wow sweet guitar, very comparable to my '72 Martin D-18.

The tone is really well balanced, I'm used to a little more boom from the D-18. But it's there if you dig a little, no quit as loud as I've heard, again it projects more when you get going on it harder. The D-18 weighs just a tad more. Otherwise they are practically twins.

Fit & finnish are good, I got this one used from an e-bay dealer (Guitar City, Inc) as used - though it wasn't stamped used (thankfully) , and included the warranty card.

I have the feeling it may have been designated a blem - but for a very small blemish, a couple o short wings on the headstock. Hardly noticeable, and a little glue smear near the neck pocket. I only notice these things because I am being picky.

The top is gorgeous- the listings pictures did not do it justice. Pretty back as well, and over all very nice feel and look.

Plays well, with a slightly high action. - I may want to sand down the bridge insert a tad, it could maybe loose a 16th" - 1/8th".

Frets need some polishing but it does play very well with no buzzes ( just a little raspy on high register bends).

The case is nice, though the hygrometer doesn't feel like it's mounted very securely. It'll do. The humidifier is a sponge in a plastic container, nothing terribly fancy.

Overall I am really pleased and impressed.

Finally I can play out a little with an acoustic again.

I'll toss some pics up if anybody is dying to see one in 2nd person.

Recommended! Now to beat the, "Go into debt buying up the rest of the line" gas.
